Integ­ra­tion Engin­eer Intern (April 2022)

This is a 6-month intern­ship start­ing in April 2022. The pos­i­tion will be based in Dreilinden (near Ber­lin).

Working field:

You will be part of the Global Pro­fes­sional Ser­vices team and will work with internal and external cli­ent groups to drive world-class buy­ing exper­i­ences through PayPal by provid­ing product expert­ise and imple­ment­a­tion con­sultancy for top-tier busi­nesses and part­ners.

Core respons­ib­il­it­ies:

Sup­port Solu­tions and Integ­ra­tion Engin­eers to pre­pare and present solu­tion pro­pos­als.

Val­id­ate the feas­ib­il­ity of tech­nical con­cepts.

Sup­port to provide sys­tem integ­ra­tion guid­ance and ensure PayPal tech­nical guidelines are adhered to.

Cham­pion best in class func­tion­al­ity and buyer exper­i­ence.

Test and cer­tify mer­chant and part­ner solu­tions

Lever­age cus­tomer rela­tion­ship and time man­age­ment skills to effect­ively pri­or­it­ize work with mul­tiple mer­chants or part­ners con­cur­rently.


To be suc­cess­ful you will demon­strate; out­stand­ing tech­nical abil­ity, a col­lab­or­at­ive and inclus­ive mind­set and a pas­sion to deliver tan­gible bene­fits for our cus­tom­ers.

Skills & Abil­it­ies required:

Study­ing Com­puter Sci­ence or related degree.

Exper­i­ence with at least one pro­gram­ming lan­guage (e.g. JavaS­cript).

Good team player with col­lab­or­at­ive approach and abil­ity to forge con­struct­ive rela­tion­ships quickly.

Out­stand­ing verbal and writ­ten com­mu­nic­a­tion skills in Eng­lish and Ger­man.

Avail­able to start on a 6-month full time basis from April 2022.
