Gradu­ates for our Global Trainee Pro­gram (m/f)

Work­ing field:

This Global Trainee pro­gram offers a unique oppor­tun­ity to gain expos­ure early in your career to shape your future with Corn­ing. The pro­gram is aimed at cul­tiv­at­ing new gradu­ates to quickly gain key busi­ness exper­i­ence through four rota­tions across:

Sales - Cus­tomer Exper­i­ence - Mar­ket­ing & Mar­ket Devel­op­ment - Product Line Man­age­ment

Each rota­tion will be 12 weeks in dur­a­tion and will provide par­ti­cipants with the oppor­tun­ity to learn and exper­i­ence a func­tional aspect of the Com­mer­cial end-to-end pro­cess. Rota­tions are designed to provide an over­view of a core aspect of the busi­ness includ­ing: product design and pri­cing, product mar­ket­ing, field sales, engin­eer­ing and cus­tomer sup­port. Par­ti­cipants can expect not only a broad range of exper­i­ence but as well as an oppor­tun­ity to make a real con­tri­bu­tion to the organ­iz­a­tion. Each par­ti­cipant will be paired with a des­ig­nated mentor, and will be given the oppor­tun­ity to net­work with senior pro­fes­sion­als.

Require­ments:

  • Mas­ter’s degree, ideally in Busi­ness/Eco­nom­ics, Engin­eer­ing/Tech­nical field
  • Excel­lent Eng­lish lan­guage skills; a second European lan­guage is a plus
  • Self-starter with an entre­pren­eur­ial mind­set
  • Inquis­it­ive and curi­ous
  • Flex­ible and mobile
  • Prior intern­ship or co-op exper­i­ence in a com­mer­cial-related area
  • Demon­strated lead­er­ship in cam­pus clubs/organ­iz­a­tions and/or extra­cur­ricular activ­it­ies
  • Global exper­i­ence such as Study Abroad par­ti­cip­a­tion
