Work­ing field:

You will par­ti­cip­ate in research on top­ics of mac­roe­co­nom­ics and/or fin­an­cial crises, in par­tic­u­lar design and ana­lysis of labor­at­ory exper­i­ments on incent­ive effects and risk tak­ing, and on the causes and pre­ven­tion of asset price bubbles. Teach­ing in mac­roe­co­nom­ics, inter­na­tional eco­nom­ics, or fin­an­cial crises with a teach­ing in accord­ance with the reg­u­la­tions in LVVO. Oppor­tun­ity to pur­sue your PhD stud­ies. We provide you an oppor­tun­ity to start an aca­demic career and par­ti­cip­ate in the Ber­lin Doc­tor­ate Pro­gram in Eco­nom­ics and Man­age­ment Sci­ences (BDPEMS).

Suc­cess­ful can­did­ates must have com­pleted a uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in eco­nom­ics or a related field with above aver­age grades and a sound know­ledge in micro- and mac­roe­co­nomic meth­ods, stat­ist­ics, and game the­ory. Exper­i­ence in exper­i­mental eco­nom­ics and know­ledge of STATA, Mat­lab, or another soft­ware for data ana­lysis are an advant­age.
