Development Engineer (m/f) Sealing Applications and Technologies

Working field:

The Development Engineer Sealing Application and Technologies will innovate and develop new sealing solutions and improve existing applications for telecommunication products, to turn them into state-of-the-art products deliverable to the customer.

Area of Application

Provide design solutions for sealing applications in various combinations, molded plastic parts, metal components and others, according to customer requirements.
Drive the global collaboration with internal and external partners on sealing application design, testing, and modeling and simulation.
Analyze current designs and design concepts with sensitivity and tolerance analysis, identify design risks with failure mode analysis and provide reliable solutions using advanced problem solving and analytical techniques to design for manufacturing.
Wide material knowledge and their processing to recommend suitable materials for sealing components and correlating components.
Experience in required material and environmental testing procedures and how to practice them.
Consider market position of competitors, analyzing products and patents.
