Carry out lectures, training and practical laboratory courses in the field of urban water management, and participate in the management of the Water Engineering study programme with an anticipated focus on ‘Water Supply and Sanitation’, ‘Water Reuse’, and ‘Project 1
perform research into urban water in arid regions
contribute to the public image of the Water Engineering study programme and Campus El Gouna
support and further develop operations in the Water Engineering test facilities
be responsible for technical equipment including membrane and ozone equipment, laboratory water treatment facility, Ecoglobe, and test flume
Successful completion of a university degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or Process Engineering, with a focus on urban water management or equivalent expertise
communication, teamwork and organisational skills
flexibility, ability to work independently and an interest in new challenges
willingness to travel as well as fluency in German and English in business contexts
The assignment will be based predominantly in El Gouna, Egypt from the start of the summer semester 2017.
