Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
under the reserve that funds are granted - part time employment may be possible
Participation in the EU funded Project Safe10T with the aim to ensure high safety performance for critical infrastructure across the road, rail and inland waterway modes through advanced mining and learning from the data that is available around these nodes. You will support the project's work package of the TU Berlin aimed at developing safety visualization maps that integrate data and data analysis results meaningfully to support real time safety decision making. Additionally, you will be involved in the development of the machine learning algorithms, an information management framework, and the overall integration of the different aspects into a decision support tool. Possible candidates are encouraged and will be supported in participating and completing the PhD graduation programme of the TU Berlin.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in a related engineering discipline
knowledge of transportation infrastructure and asset management
advanced PC and software development sskill, ideally in web based data visulaization and GIS
excellent English language skills
you should have an entrepreneurial mindset and be a strong, but self-motivated team worker
junior researchers with international background welcome
