Work­ing field:

Research and teach­ing in the field of stat­ist­ical phys­ics of col­loidal sys­tems and com­plex flu­ids, par­tic­u­larly aniso­tropic flu­ids, col­loids in external fields and in non-equi­lib­rium states. Par­ti­cip­a­tion in third-party fun­ded pro­jects of the work­ing group.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) and PhD in phys­ics or a related field; didactical skills are neces­sary; very good know­ledge in the­or­et­ical phys­ics with a focus on stat­ist­ical phys­ics (espe­cially soft mat­ter); very good pro­gram­ming skills; high level of com­mit­ment; abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently.
