Work­ing field:

Research in the field of stat­ist­ics of stochastic par­tial dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions (SPDE) in pro­ject A01 "Stat­ist­ics for SPDEs" within the CRC 1294 Data Assim­il­a­tion (see http://www.uni-potsdam.de/de/sfb1294.html). PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Math­em­at­ics; solid know­ledge in Stochastic Ana­lysis; addi­tional know­ledge in the the­ory of par­tial dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions or non­lin­ear evol­u­tion equa­tions is desir­able. / More inform­a­tion can be obtained from Prof. Dr. Wil­helm Stan­nat (stannat@math.tu-berlin.de).
