Junior Scala / Data Engineer (m/f)
Our platform deals with huge amounts of data and billions of requests. Each engineering team works with a clear mission in mind, taking accountability for every part of the system from deployment to production. Our teams are multi-disciplinary and consist of Developers, QA Engineers and Product
Develop low latency distributed solutions that process tens of thousands of requests per second.
Participate in an experienced agile development team with an ambitious technical roadmap.
Suggest improvements to increase efficiency, scalability and reliability of our distributed systems.
Help to ensure smooth operational data processing. Develop fail-over and monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with our Data Science team on improvements of our scoring and fraud detection algorithms
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
You have knowledge in Scala or big data applications.
You have an interest in developing applications on high-performance, large scale distributed systems.
Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, NoSQL stores (HBase, Redis or Aerospike) is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow
Excellent written and spoken English.
