Die TU Dres­den ist eine der elf Exzel­len­z­u­ni­ver­sitä­ten Deut­sch­lands. Als Voll­u­ni­ver­sität mit brei­tem Fächer­spek­trum zählt sie zu den for­schungs­s­tärks­ten Hoch­schu­len. Research Asso­ci­ate/Postdoc

(Sub­ject to per­sonal qual­i­fic­a­tion employ­ees are remu­ner­ated accord­ing to salary group E 13 TV-L)
start­ing at the earli­est pos­sible date. The pos­i­tion is ini­tially lim­ited until 30th June 2020 with the pos­sib­il­ity of exten­sion and entails 50% of the full­time weekly hours with a pos­sible exten­sion of the con­tract to 100% of the full­time weekly hours (The period of employ­ment is gov­erned by the Fixed Term Research Con­tracts Act [Wis­senschaft­szeitver­trags­ge­setz – Wis­sZeitVG].). The pos­i­tion offers the chance to obtain fur­ther aca­demic qual­i­fic­a­tion (e.g. habil­it­a­tion thesis).

Work­ing field:

  • con­tri­bu­tions to extern­ally fun­ded research and devel­op­ment pro­jects of the junior sci­ent­ist group “Care4Sax­ony”;
  • sup­port of research and devel­op­ment activ­it­ies of the junior sci­ent­ist group;
  • accept­ing respons­ib­il­ity for coordin­at­ing and ment­or­ing tasks of the group;
  • real­iz­a­tion of the­or­et­ical and empir­ical stud­ies; par­ti­cip­a­tion in inter­na­tional con­fer­ences and giv­ing present­a­tions in Ger­man and Eng­lish.


  • uni­versity degree (dip­loma, M.Sc.) and very good doc­tor­ate in Busi­ness Inform­at­ics, Busi­ness and Engin­eer­ing, Inform­a­tion Tech­no­lo­gies, Busi­ness and Eco­nom­ics with emphasis on Busi­ness Inform­at­ics, Health Eco­nom­ics or Innov­a­tion Research;
  • latest aca­demic degree achieved after 16th Decem­ber 2012;
  • abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently; desire for qual­i­fic­a­tion in the field of E-Health Research;
  • pro­fes­sional demeanor;
  • will­ing­ness to accept respons­ib­il­ity for ment­or­ing and team work;
  • very good Eng­lish skills;
  • research activ­it­ies of many years in a clin­ical set­ting con­cern­ing integ­rated health care, innov­at­ive health care mod­els, pro­cess man­age­ment or digit­iz­a­tion in health care;
  • above-aver­age ana­lyt­ical and con­cep­tual skills proven by pub­lic­a­tions in the fields of ana­lysis and design of integ­rated health care mod­els, real­iz­a­tion of com­plex IT imple­ment­a­tion pro­jects, product life cycle man­age­ment, innov­a­tion and dif­fu­sion research, E-Health research or qual­ity and pro­cess man­age­ment in health care;
  • very good research method skills and know­ledge con­cern­ing qual­it­at­ive, quant­it­at­ive or design- ori­ented meth­ods;
  • basic know­ledge of Med­ical Inform­at­ics and applic­a­tion sys­tems in health care and pro­cess and pro­ject man­age­ment espe­cially in health care.

Inter­dis­cip­lin­ary job pro­files cov­er­ing the fields of med­ical and health research, eco­nom­ics and applied Inform­at­ics or Busi­ness Inform­at­ics are espe­cially desir­able.
