starting at the earliest possible date. The position is initially limited until 30th June 2020 with the possibility of extension and entails 50% of the fulltime weekly hours with a possible extension of the contract to 100% of the fulltime weekly hours (The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG].). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. habilitation thesis).
contributions to externally funded research and development projects of the junior scientist group “Care4Saxony”;
support of research and development activities of the junior scientist group;
accepting responsibility for coordinating and mentoring tasks of the group;
realization of theoretical and empirical studies; participation in international conferences and giving presentations in German and English.
university degree (diploma, M.Sc.) and very good doctorate in Business Informatics, Business and Engineering, Information Technologies, Business and Economics with emphasis on Business Informatics, Health Economics or Innovation Research;
latest academic degree achieved after 16th December 2012;
ability to work independently; desire for qualification in the field of E-Health Research;
willingness to accept responsibility for mentoring and team work;
very good English skills;
research activities of many years in a clinical setting concerning integrated health care, innovative health care models, process management or digitization in health care;
above-average analytical and conceptual skills proven by publications in the fields of analysis and design of integrated health care models, realization of complex IT implementation projects, product life cycle management, innovation and diffusion research, E-Health research or quality and process management in health care;
very good research method skills and knowledge concerning qualitative, quantitative or design- oriented methods;
basic knowledge of Medical Informatics and application systems in health care and process and project management especially in health care.
Interdisciplinary job profiles covering the fields of medical and health research, economics and applied Informatics or Business Informatics are especially desirable.
