TU Berlin Summer University - Seeking Student Assistants for Summer 2018

The TU Berlin Summer University is seeking Student Assistants for its 2018 summer school program. Support will be needed within the timeframe of the 4th of June to the 16th of August. The program provides short courses to international students visiting the TU Berlin over the summer.
Support the running of the TU Berlin Summer University, primarily the delivery of cultural activities, accompanying excursions around Berlin, supporting student welcome days, being the first point of contact for the summer school students during excursions, taking photos etc.
Provide administrative support to the TU Berlin Summer University Team at its headquarters in Charlottenburg in the week preceding the Summer University including: booking excursions, preparation of welcome bags and welcome events, general event assistance, responding to international student enquiries – and other tasks as required
Interest in intercultural relationships and communication
Excellent German and English language skills (minimum level C1)
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
No specific field of study is necessary for this role! All are acceptable.
What we offer:
The role commences officially on June 4th and concludes on approximately August 16th, however start dates can be flexible. Depending on the volume of student enrolments for the summer university, applicants may also be requested to commence earlier (if desired!)
Pay is based on the standard conditions of a Student Assistant position and is set at €12.50 an hour, for a fixed, short-term contract
Hours are flexible, but in general offered at around 20 hours a week
The possibility for additional work during the winter program exists (January 2019) for interested candidates
