Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

under the reserve that funds are gran­ted - part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

  • research of soci­oli­gic aspects of human-robot inter­ac­tion in the con­text of demo­graphic change
  • design, imple­ment­a­tion and exe­cu­tion of techo-soci­olo­gical exper­i­ments with robots
  • shared work on robot pro­to­types with other dis­cip­lines
  • com­mu­nic­a­tion of research insights and soci­olo­gic­ally rel­ev­ant top­ics in pub­lic out­reach activ­it­ies

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in in Soci­ology or a related dis­cip­line is neces­sary
  • know­ledge of the field of soci­ology of tech­no­logy is neces­sary
  • basic know­ledge in pro­gram­ming and con­trol of robot beha­vior is required
  • abil­ity to present and com­mu­nic­ate research on sci­entific events as well as in pub­lic events is required
desired:
  • know­ledge of social media com­mu­nic­a­tion
  • exper­i­ence with the 'Pep­per' robot plat­form
  • prac­tical know­ledge and exper­i­ence in the ana­lysis of embod­ied and haptic activ­it­ies with techno-soci­olo­gical meth­ods
  • good com­mand of Eng­lish lan­guage, basic com­mand of Ger­man lan­guage
