working with a team of open-minded and committed scientists as well as a diversified field of work
execution of teaching modules, in particular student projects, for the Bachelor and Master curricula in German and English, on the topics landscape development, landscape planning, protected areas, with reference to currently developing methods and contents in the subject field
application for and participation in research projects
writing of publications
contribution to academic self-administration
a successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Landscape Planning, Environmental Planning or equivalent
very good knowledge of the contents and methods of Landscape Planning and their ecological, legal, administrative, political and societal context
good knowledge of related instruments (protected areas, environmental assessment, etc.)
fluent German with excellent verbal and written skills, very good proficiency of the English language
very good computer literacy (GIS, MS-Office)
didactical skills, commitment, capacity for teamwork, aptitude for independent work
experience of working in a planning office, nature conservation administration or research projects are an advantage
experience in teaching
knowledge of the structures and procedures of a university
