Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 1st qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD can­did­ate)

Work­ing field:

Teach­ing sup­port at the Insti­tute of Math­em­at­ics of weekly 4 hours (in full-time con­tracts) and Research in the area of con­vex and dis­crete geo­metry

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Math­em­at­ics or Com­puter
Sci­ence, excel­lent grades desired; in-depth know­ledge con­vex and dis­crete geo­metry and neigh­bour­ing areas; exper­i­ence in uni­versity teach­ing (e.g. as stu­dent assist­ant) would be bene­fi­cial. Flu­ent Ger­man skills are required; good Eng­lish lan­guage skills desired.
