Research and teaching in the area of working worlds’ digitalization; core research themes are transformation of work and the institutional embeddedness of work, including international comparison. PhD thesis preparation is possible.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in sociology or comparable disciplines; preferably excellent degree; excellent knowledge of recent sociology of work; preferably in-depth knowledge of organizational sociology and/or economic sociology, as well as quantitative or qualitative methods; experience in teaching and publication; high proficiency in German and English; commitment to the topics of the Chair as well as its development.
