Work­ing field:

You will work at the Depart­ment of Food Bio­tech­no­logy and Food Pro­cess Engin­eer­ing on the devel­op­ment of innov­at­ive pro­ced­ures in the field of food pro­cessing and pre­ser­va­tion. The spe­cific respons­ib­il­it­ies will involve the pro­ced­ural / tech­no­lo­gical design and the pro­cess optim­iz­a­tion includ­ing fluid mech­anic numer­ical exam­in­a­tions. The pro­jects own a con­nect­ing char­ac­ter between food­tech­no­lo­gies, multi-scale product-/pro­cess­an­a­lysis and -design and bio­ther­mo­fluid­dy­nam­ics.

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent). The pos­i­tion is related to com­pu­ta­tional engin­eer­ing, numer­ical flu­id­mech­an­ics, phys­ical engin­eer­ing, pro­cess engin­eer­ing (with focus on math­em­at­ical-numer­ical meth­ods) or com­par­able dis­cip­lines. Very good cooper­at­ive­ness and the abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently and inter­dis­cip­lin­ary on the inter­face of food­tech­no­logy, pro­cess engin­eer­ing, flu­id­mech­an­ics and numeric are assumed.
