Research Assistant - 0.8 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 2nd qualification period
A position for a research assistant (including researching and teaching) is to be filled for the supervision and future development of the dual Master programm „Urban Planning and Mobility’– under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Angela Million, at the LaborK within the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning (ISR) at TU Berlin.
Collaboration in teaching and research (in German and English) on planning for the interaction between mobility and the built environment, solid knowledge in qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods; Supervision and further development of the dual Master Programme "Urban Planning and Mobility" with the Universidad de Buenos Aires; independent teaching of classes and supervision of final graduation theses. Active contribution in respect to the qualification objective PhD through the development of research projects in the field of urban planning for the interaction between mobility and the built environment; including presentations at international conferences and publication work. Self-administration tasks within research and teaching are part of the position as well.
Successfully completed academic university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) and PhD in urban and regional planning, spatial planning and urban design or transport planning; knowledge (also teaching methods) in urban development as well as experience in application-oriented research or basic research in urban planning and related fields are a must; good working skills in German, Spanish, and English. Proven interest and experience in the research field and in the topics of the Labor K.
