For many years the Center for International and Intercultural Communication (ZiiK) of Faculty IV at TU Berlin has been involved in various projects in the field of higher education to help reconstruct IT structures in developing countries. As part of a computer science master's program, lecturers from developing countries are trained at the TU Berlin in the field of database and information systems, networks, system and network administration as well as software engineering to later help re-build IT structures at their home universities and to function as education multiplier.
We offer the opportunity to make an active contribution to reconstruct IT structures in developing countries, to gain experience with a foreign culture and to pass on acquired knowledge.
Teach lessons in the field of computer science with focus on software engineering (teaching language is English); support and advice of students; co-design of training in software engineering.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science or equivalent subject as well as a very good knowledge of English necessary. Practical experience in teaching in the field of development cooperation and intercultural competence favoured.
