For many years the Cen­ter for Inter­na­tional and Inter­cul­tural Com­mu­nic­a­tion (ZiiK) of Fac­ulty IV at TU Ber­lin has been involved in vari­ous pro­jects in the field of higher edu­ca­tion to help recon­struct IT struc­tures in devel­op­ing coun­tries. As part of a com­puter sci­ence mas­ter's pro­gram, lec­tur­ers from devel­op­ing coun­tries are trained at the TU Ber­lin in the field of data­base and inform­a­tion sys­tems, net­works, sys­tem and net­work admin­is­tra­tion as well as soft­ware engin­eer­ing to later help re-build IT struc­tures at their home uni­versit­ies and to func­tion as edu­ca­tion mul­ti­plier.
We offer the oppor­tun­ity to make an act­ive con­tri­bu­tion to recon­struct IT struc­tures in devel­op­ing coun­tries, to gain exper­i­ence with a for­eign cul­ture and to pass on acquired know­ledge.

Work­ing field:

Teach les­sons in the field of com­puter sci­ence with focus on soft­ware engin­eer­ing (teach­ing lan­guage is Eng­lish); sup­port and advice of stu­dents; co-design of train­ing in soft­ware engin­eer­ing.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Com­puter Sci­ence, Tech­nical Com­puter Sci­ence or equi­val­ent sub­ject as well as a very good know­ledge of Eng­lish neces­sary. Prac­tical exper­i­ence in teach­ing in the field of devel­op­ment cooper­a­tion and inter­cul­tural com­pet­ence favoured.
