Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 1st qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD can­did­ate)

part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in and also exten­sion of the groups' research
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the teach­ing activ­it­ies of the group
  • Cooper­a­tion with and advising of Bach­elor and Mas­ter stu­dents
  • Close col­lab­or­a­tion with other European uni­versit­ies and industry part­ners
  • Man­aging research pro­jects and pub­lish­ing research res­ults
  • Assist­ance with acquis­i­tion of new pro­jects

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Com­puter Sci­ence, Com­puter Engin­eer­ing, or sim­ilar
  • flu­ency in Eng­lish
  • abil­ity to work alone as well as in a team in a struc­tured way
  • exper­i­ence with recon­fig­ur­able sys­tems such as FPGAs
  • pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence with embed­ded sys­tems
Ideally, can­did­ates should have:
  • Ger­man lan­guage skills
  • prac­tical exper­i­ence with at least one of the fol­low­ing: com­puter archi­tec­tures, Applic­a­tion-Spe­cific Instruc­tion Set Pro­cessors, GPU archi­tec­tures, ASIC design, mul­ticore archi­tec­tures, par­al­lel pro­gram­ming mod­els, oper­at­ing sys­tems
