The PostDoc will do advanced research in the areas of Internet Measurement and Internet Systems.
Research on large network datasets and network systems
Research on security issues of network systems
Collaboration with different partners of some of the the best research groups in academia and the Internet industry in Europe and the US
Dissemination/publication of the research results at the most competitive international conferences in the area of Computer Networks
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
A strong background in collecting and analyzing large network datasets and/or building network systems is required.
An excellent knowledge and experience in research on security issues of network systems a plus.
Candidates with a strong publication record in international conferences relevant for the research domain such as IMC, SIGCOMM, NSDI, CoNEXT, will be given priority.
Experience in Python, DNS, BGP, netflow, data-intensive architectures like Hadoop and Spark is a big plus.
Very good oral and written skills in English.
