Work­ing field:

  • Research in the area of Soft­ware/Sys­tems Engin­eer­ing for intel­li­gent col­lab­or­at­ing sys­tems; Devel­op­ment and eval­u­ation of con­cepts, meth­ods, and tech­no­lo­gies in one of the fol­low­ing areas: Data-driven Require­ments Engin­eer­ing, Model-based Devel­op­ment, Test­ing and Sim­u­la­tion, Qual­ity Assur­ance.
  • Con­tri­bu­tions to research pro­jects with the DCAITI (Daimler Cen­ter for Auto­mot­ive IT Innov­a­tions) that has a strong back­ground in auto­mot­ive soft­ware engin­eer­ing top­ics.
  • It is pos­sible to pur­sue a PhD.

Require­ments:

Pre­requis­ites:
  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in com­puter sci­ence, soft­ware engin­eer­ing or a related field
  • very good grades
  • know­ledge and skills in the fol­low­ing areas: Sys­tem/Soft­ware-Engin­eer­ing, Qual­ity Assur­ance, Require­ments-Engin­eer­ing, Soft­waretest, Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence / Machine Learn­ing
  • very good Ger­man and Eng­lish skills
  • very high level of com­mit­ment, respons­ib­il­ity and self-ini­ti­at­ive
  • pro­gram­ming skills in at least one pro­gram­ming lan­guage
Desired:
  • exper­i­ences in Model-based Engin­eer­ing
  • exper­i­ences in pro­cessing large sets of data (Big Data)
  • pro­gram­ming skills in Java and Python
