Research Assistant - 0.5 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Scientific assistance in research project "The Sky is the Limit - Future utilisation of urban airspace".
The project will develop a systematic analysis of chances, potentials and risks of new aviation technologies (drones, copters) that create the basis for strategic suggestions for policy makers, administrations, research and urban planning, interested in the future development of urban airspace.
Independent research activities (status-, secondary- and stakeholder analyses) including reports and scientific publications
Realisation and analysis of expert interviews
Stakeholder communication and public relations
Administrative support for project coordination
Cooperation with project partners
successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in the fields transport/traffic sciences, urban and regional planning, geography, political sciences or planning and environmental law
Profound expertise in methods of qualitative social research
Major interest, curiosity and enthusiasm for subjects at the intersection of mobility, transport and urban development; Profound knowledge about recent and future mobility concepts and joint problems including awareness of transport policies
Capacity for teamwork, motivation and ability to work independently
Very good language skills in German and English (spoken and written)
Preferable previous knowledge in project management of third party funded projects
Ideally, evidence of publications in subjects transport, mobility, urban planning, regulation
