In the field of driving simulation, the degree of immersion of the simulated driving environment on humans is crucial to determine the effectiveness of virtual safeguards.
For this purpose, the department conducts various research projects in the Digital Cube Test Center (DCTC), which investigate human-machine interaction during driving simulation.
The area of responsibility of the vacant position includes the coordination and implementation of scientific projects, relevant scientific publications and participation in relevant conferences to present the subject of research.
PhD thesis preparation is possible.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Industrial Psychology or comparable
knowledge in the field Human Centered Design
initial experience in conducting volunteer studies, conducting and analyzing interviews
ability to work in a team, professional attitude, creativity
excellent german skills are required, good to very good English skills are desired
