Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Work­ing field:

  • Co-devel­op­ment of full-scope and short-cut integ­rated assess­ment (TEA + LCA) approaches for Car­bon Cap­ture and Util­iz­a­tion (CCU) with world lead­ing research part­ners and renown indus­trial and policy experts in pro­ject CO2nsist­ent
  • Pre­par­a­tion of two tech­no­logy assess­ment case stud­ies, includ­ing study design, study imple­ment­a­tion, dis­cus­sion of work, present­a­tion and pub­lic­a­tion at inter­na­tional work­shops and con­fer­ences
  • Coordin­a­tion of work and pro­jects at TEA sup-group

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in indus­trial engin­eer­ing, chem­ical engin­eer­ing, envir­on­mental engin­eer­ing or sim­ilar is required
  • PhD desired
  • In-depth exper­i­ence in pre­par­ing techno-eco­nomic assess­ment stud­ies is required, exper­i­ence in life cycle assess­ment stud­ies is desired, exper­i­ence in Car­bon Cap­ture and Util­iz­a­tion is desired
  • In-depth exper­i­ence in tech­no­logy assess­ment meth­od­o­logy devel­op­ment is required, in par­tic­u­lar in TEA, LCA, integ­rated assess­ment and short-cut assess­ment
  • In-depth exper­i­ence in pro­cess sim­u­la­tion soft­ware such as Aspen­Plus, Chem­Cad or sim­ilar
  • Very good skills in present­a­tion and pub­lic­a­tion of res­ults and pro­ject man­age­ment, exper­i­ence in out­reach activ­it­ies with stake­hold­ers is required
  • Very good pro­fi­ciency in Eng­lish is required, pro­fi­ciency in Ger­man is desired
