Research assist­ant - 0.5 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Work­ing field:

Devel­op­ment of a so-called Ko-Lab (cooper­a­tion lab) nutri­tion. This includes:
  • Con­cep­tion, plan­ning and exe­cu­tion of a sem­inar in the mas­ter stud­ies „Ernährung / Lebens­mit­tel­wis­senschaften (M.ed.)“ (4 h per week each semester). Main focus of the sem­inar is the devel­op­ment of hands-on assign­ments for teach­ing in voca­tional schools (learn­ing situ­ations) con­sid­er­ing digit­al­isa­tion, sus­tain­ab­il­ity and lan­guage devel­op­ment.
  • Acquis­i­tion and assist­ance of rel­ev­ant indus­trial part­ners from the field of nutri­tion and home eco­nom­ics
  • Close cooper­a­tion with sci­entific and admin­is­trat­ive coordin­a­tion of the pro­ject as well as other pro­ject parts and work pack­ages
  • Sci­entific eval­u­ation of the Ko-Labs
  • Sup­port of writ­ing interim reports as well as the final report
  • Writ­ing sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions
  • Present­a­tion of pro­ject res­ults at national and inter­na­tional con­fer­ences as well as internal pro­ject meet­ings (e.g. PhD col­loquia, meet­ings with advis­ory board)

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent)
  • veri­fi­able excel­lent didactical com­pet­ency / teach­ing exper­i­ence in voca­tional edu­ca­tion and train­ing in the voca­tional field of nutri­tion and home eco­nom­ics
  • desired: At least one year of rel­ev­ant voca­tional exper­i­ence in the voca­tional field of nutri­tion and home eco­nom­ics or as a voca­tional teacher or an equi­val­ent pro­fes­sional exper­i­ence; a voca­tional edu­ca­tion and train­ing is advant­age­ous
  • very good know­ledge of the voca­tional sys­tem and the Ber­lin teacher edu­ca­tion
  • excel­lent skills in Ger­man (speak­ing and writ­ing), good Eng­lish skills are advant­age­ous
  • dis­tinct com­mu­nic­at­ive skills, organ­isa­tional tal­ent, flex­ib­il­ity, resi­li­ence and capa­city for team­work
  • high degree of read­i­ness to take on respons­ib­il­ity and oper­a­tional read­i­ness
