Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
The role will consist of one primary area of responsibility - Installer Loyalty Programme. You will be assisting in all areas of the administrative part of he NPI Programme as well as working on assigned projects related to marketing campaigns and further programme development.
You will support the channel marketing manager, sales team and customers in variety of tasks:
Manage invitation process from nomination to membership packet issuance
Issuing partners certifications
Monthly Programme Reporting
Maintain contact/status information (internal database and Corning website)
Maintain and expand Portal content and supervise translation projects
Process extended warranty projects
Map out training plans, report activities to regional teams and Salesforce
Assist on process automation and program enhancements, including any needed documentation
Work intensively with data bases in Salesforce.com, Marketo and Cvent.com
Support proof reading and translation
Support development of marketing and product materials
Coordinate Member demo sample shipments and build up giveaways stock
Plan accordingly on member events (physical or virtual)
Help with the online and offline communication towards members of our loyalty programmes
Registered university student in the sphere of Business Administration or similar studies (a specialization in marketing is highly preferred)
Good organisational and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German (other languages: French, Spanish, Russian helpful)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with MS Office Suite in particular Excel & PowerPoint
The employment as a working student is part time (min 16 and max 20 working hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during the semester breaks)
