Research Assist­ant - 0.75 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Addi­tional 0.25 work­ing time in research pro­jects might be pos­sible when in line with the pro­vi­sions on tem­por­ary employ­ment

Work­ing field:

  • teach­ing in the courses of Urban and Regional Plan­ning and Urban Design (sem­inars, exer­cises, stu­dio pro­jects) focus­sing on sus­tain­able devel­op­ment, urban plan­ning on city-wide and neigh­bour­hood level, mod­er­a­tion and medi­ation of plan­ning pro­cesses, civil soci­ety pro­cesses in urban regen­er­a­tion
  • research activ­it­ies in the fields of sus­tain­able devel­op­ment, plan­ning and cooper­a­tion pro­cesses of urban plan­ning and urban regen­er­a­tion
  • act­ive par­ti­cip­a­tion in the aca­demic organ­isatin of the chair

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Urban and Regional Plan­ning, Urban Design or Spa­tial Plan­ning
  • know­ledge and interest in the top­ics men­tioned above
  • work exper­i­ence in prac­tice and/or aca­demic research of urban and regional plan­ning, prefer­ably in urban regen­er­a­tion
  • very good skills in Ger­man and Eng­lish (writ­ten and spoken)
  • good skills in using writ­ing, lay­out and draw­ing pro­grammes
  • good urban design skills
