The Electrochemical Energy Science Group at Technische Universität Berlin seeks to hire a candidate with hands-on experience in experimental electrochemical mass spectrometry.
Participation in a research project on mechanisms and materials for efficient CO2 separation schemes with a focus on the application of differential electrochemical mass spectrometry. Required for this position is in-depth knowledge of electrochemical mass spectrometry and its application in the field of Li ion batteries. Furthermore, proven experience in preparing and characterizing galvanic battery cells is needed. The goal of the research work is new mechanistic understanding of electrochemical CO2 separation technologies.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry
Successfully completed PhD degree in Chemical Engineering
Prior research experience in the field of Li-air batteries and experimental electrochemical mass spectrometry
Excellent English communication skills
The position is suited for a self-driven individual who is capable of conducting demanding research projects independently.
