Supervision of Bachelor's Degree Civil Engineering (fundamentals of Designing and Engineering)
Supervision of courses of the master program civil engineering (for example building construction II, timber structures, design seminar and colloquia)
Execution of exercises and courses, as well as the supervision of bachelor, master and study works
Planning and execution of (international) excursions
Collaboration in research and administration (supervision and guidance of student employees)
Research in the field of structural engineering with a focus on hybrid constructions with timber
Organization and administration of the teaching company
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in the field of civil engineering with in-depth knowledge in structural engineering and timber engineering is required. Very good knowledge of German is necessary for the unobstructed, technical language correct teaching. Sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English is expected.
Desired are: above-average commitment to teaching and research; independent scientific method of working; strong communication and team skills; Problem-solving thinking and, furthermore, interest in interdisciplinary work in the fields of construction and architecture as well as related technical sciences.
