Working field:

  • Participation in education activities: exercises and labs in the field of smart/integrated sensor systems and general circuit design issues, microelectronics-related measurement and characterization techniques in the lab, CAD-based simulation.
  • Research in the area of low noise circuits for for biomedical applications:
o Design of integrated and discrete circuits
o Characterization and modeling of noise phenomena


  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in electrical engineering or computer engineering, in case of related sciences such as physics also in neighboring disciplines.
  • Ability to work in structured manner
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Expertise in integrated circuit design
  • Experience in discrete circuit design

Additional Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching
  • Background in digital circuit design
  • Experience in using Cadence CAD software
  • Background concerning characterization techniques applied to microelectronic devices and circuits
