Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung e.V. - HR

The mission of the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) as a nationally and internationally active research institute is to deliver solutions for an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable agriculture – together with society. ZALF is a member of the Leibniz Association and is located in Müncheberg (approx. 35 minutes by regional train from Berlin-Lichtenberg). It also maintains a research station with further locations in Dedelow and Paulinenaue.

In the framework of the research program „Soils as Sustainable Resource for the Bioeconomy - BonaRes“ launched by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research the coordinating project „BonaRes - Centre for Soil Research“ is funded for a planned period of 9 years since 2015 (www.bonares.de). Aims of this project are the provision of soil related data in standardized form in an open repository, the development of integrative model tools to evaluate land use options with regards to sustainable development, and to develop a web-based portal for knowledge-based options for farming strategies and soil use management. To face these challenges, an interdisciplinary group of scientists has been established.

We are offering starting from March 1st, 2022 subject to appropriation of funding temporarily limited until February 28st, 2025 at our location in Müncheberg as
