The project focuses on reducing the carbon footprint by creating a common framework for carbon offsetting mechanisms and low emission practices on farms and facilitating carbon farming projects in Europe. To achieve the project's objectives, actions such as the implementation of harmonised tools, standards and methodologies for on-farm sustainability assessment are envisaged. In addition, the monitoring, reporting, and verification process is addressed, including the training of farmers and advisors.
