Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:
The Integrated Transport Planning Group is concerned with the intermodal aspects of transportation and the interactions between transportation, society, technology, eco-nomy, environment and politics. The aim is to develop concepts for designing mobility that sustainably shapes economic cycles and social participation by avoiding traffic wherever possible, reducing negative consequences and handling necessary traffic in a resource-saving manner.
The project KLAR: erKennbare und Lesbare Auto- und Radinfrastruktur aims to examine the compre-hensibility of urban traffic infrastructure from the perspective of both cyclists and motorists. To do this, motorists and cyclists will move through virtual traffic situations in a simulator at the same time and will be interviewed afterwards. The aim is to gain in-sights into how cycling infrastructure must be designed so that it is perceived as understandable by cyclists and motorists.
