Synthesis of novel water oxidation catalysts based on nanostructured manganese precatalysts via oxidation or reduction processes; synthesis, support, anodization, reduction and oxidation of low-valent homo- and heteropolymetallic materials; electrochemical and X-ray characterization of the synthesized materials
Successfully completed universitydegree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry with specialization in inorganic chemistry; Master thesis in the field of organometallic chemistry and/or catalysis; very good knowledge in the field of organometallic chemistry and electrochemistry; profound theoretical and experimental knowledge in the field of high-temperature solid-state synthesis and synthesis of nanostructured materials; profound knowledge in crystallography and X-ray structure analysis as well as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption spectroscopy; experience in the field of catalytic water splitting is desirable
