FU Berlin - Mathematik und Informatik, Institut für Informatik, AG-HCC

The research project CreaCogs (Creative Cognitive Systems) is searching for a new student research assistant with a background in psychology. The CreaCogs project is an interdisciplinary project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and deployed at FU Berlin. The project aims to understand how humans cognitively perform creative problem solving tasks, and to implement the next generation of artificial intelligence creative cognitive systems and tools.

  • assist in the running of empirical experiments, to understand how natural and artificial minds best perform certain cognitive tasks;
  • take part in the analysis of data resulting from experiments with human participants, comparing the results or using the knowledge gathered in artificial cognitive systems.

You are studying at least the fourth semester of psychology, cognitive science or a related course of study
  • You are interested in questions regarding creativity, creative problem solving, reasoning and other cognitive abilities
