The IWF offers scientific staff excellent conditions for theoretical and experimental research work by means of state-of-the-art equipment. The area of responsibility of the vacancy includes the independent planning and implementation of research und development projects with autonomous budget management, coordination of the cooperation partners and guidance of student employees. A presentation of the scientific results at (inter)national conferences, the preparation of research proposals is expected. The planned focus of the position as a research assistant is the research and development of production technology for the production of lithium-ion battery cells as a key element of the electrification of automobiles. In the context of the employment there is the possibility for achieving a PhD.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering or similar
knowledge in the field of assembly, automation and design engineering is required, where practical experience in the development and experimental testing of assembly systems is an advantage
