Research in the ERC Project COCAN (Complexity and Condition in Algebra and Numerics).
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and PhD in mathematics or computer science. Background in one of the areas of (geometric) invariant theory, complexity theory, convex optimization, and complexity and analysis of numerical algorithms. We expect a high motivation for doing excellent basic research. Good English language skills are desired.
