We are look­ing for a per­son for sci­entific assist­ance, who wants to get involved in the fac­ulty fun­ded pro­ject “Online-Sem­inar: Energy and Resources – Intro­duc­tion 2.0” on Innov­at­ive Teach­ing.
Ener­get­ic­ally, the team of the Energy and Resource Man­age­ment Depart­ment works on the top­ics of sus­tain­able energy sup­ply and resource util­iz­a­tion. The focus of research is the real­iz­a­tion of cli­mate pro­tec­tion and energy trans­ition across all sec­tors and value chains as part of sec­tor coup­ling. The teach­ing, which com­bines ele­ments of research and prac­tice in an innov­at­ive way, is aimed primar­ily at stu­dents of indus­trial engin­eer­ing spe­cial­iz­ing in energy and resource man­age­ment. Women and fam­ily friend­li­ness, work-life bal­ance and flex­ible work­ing time mod­els are part of our self-image.

Work­ing field:

Your tasks will cover the col­lab­or­a­tion in research and teach­ing on inter­dis­cip­lin­ary (eco­nomic and tech­nical) energy ana­lysis, devel­op­ment and applic­a­tion of mod­els and eco­nomic-tech­nical eval­u­ation of energy and envir­on­mental sys­tems.


We are look­ing for a per­son who has a suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) prefer­ably at indus­trial engin­eer­ing (engin­eer­ing man­age­ment), with a focus on energy industry. We expect com­mit­ment, cre­ativ­ity and com­mu­nic­at­ive com­pet­ences in our scope of action con­nec­ted to the abil­ity for inde­pend­ent sci­entific work, a strong focus on col­lab­or­at­ive skills and fun with teach­ing. A solid Ger­man lan­guage level (teach­ing is basic­ally in Ger­man) is neces­sary as well as flu­ent Eng­lish (other for­eign lan­guages are wel­come). IT-skills, espe­cially pro­fi­ciency in MS Office are desir­able. We appre­ci­ate also know­ledges in Data Sci­ences, pro­gram­ing (python, Java, VBA etc.) as well as GIS and lit­er­at­ure man­age­ment (s.a. Citavi).
