Research Assist­ant - 0.75 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Work­ing field:

sci­entific research in an inter­dis­cip­lin­ary set­ting; research of edu­ca­tional land­scapes and cam­pus pro­jects (ANT), their con­cep­tional base, spa­tial design, per­cep­tion and appro­pri­ation of users, includ­ing stu­dents; Inde­pend­ent research work of case stud­ies in the European con­text; present­a­tion and pub­lic­a­tion of research res­ults at inter­na­tional con­fer­ences and in inter­na­tional peer-reviewed journ­als; par­ti­cip­a­tion in con­cep­tion and acquis­i­tion of extern­ally fun­ded pro­jects, PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible

Require­ments:

suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in spa­tial plan­ning or design (esp. city- und spa­tial plan­ning, archi­tec­ture, urban design, urb­an­ism); a broad and solid know­ledge of spa­tial and social sci­ence research meth­ods; exper­i­ence in research, sense for graphic rep­res­ent­a­tion and know­ledge of graphic and lay­out pro­grams are of interest as well, will­ing­ness to do busi­ness trips.
The described tasks and top­ics should be covered as widely as pos­sible. A high degree of organ­iz­a­tional and com­mu­nic­a­tion skills are deman­ded, very good know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guages as well as high motiv­a­tion are essen­tial. For the research, an interest in the research sub­ject of the named research pro­ject is essen­tial; within the con­tent and frame­work of the pos­i­tion
