We are looking for a person for scientific assistance, who wants to get involved in the faculty funded project “Online-Seminar: Energy and Resources – Introduction 2.0” on Innovative Teaching.
Energetically, the team of the Energy and Resource Management Department works on the topics of sustainable energy supply and resource utilization. The focus of research is the realization of climate protection and energy transition across all sectors and value chains as part of sector coupling. The teaching, which combines elements of research and practice in an innovative way, is aimed primarily at students of industrial engineering specializing in energy and resource management. Women and family friendliness, work-life balance and flexible working time models are part of our self-image.
Your tasks will cover the collaboration in research and teaching on interdisciplinary (economic and technical) energy analysis, development and application of models and economic-technical evaluation of energy and environmental systems.
We are looking for a person who has a successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) preferably at industrial engineering (engineering management), with a focus on energy industry. We expect commitment, creativity and communicative competences in our scope of action connected to the ability for independent scientific work, a strong focus on collaborative skills and fun with teaching. A solid German language level (teaching is basically in German) is necessary as well as fluent English (other foreign languages are welcome). IT-skills, especially proficiency in MS Office are desirable. We appreciate also knowledges in Data Sciences, programing (python, Java, VBA etc.) as well as GIS and literature management (s.a. Citavi).
