Research assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

Research and devel­op­ment within the pro­ject of the Ger­man Research Found­a­tion „7XXX-Al-Alloy“.
The duties are:
  • Research in the field of cyc­ling fatigue of the alloy series Al 7XXX
  • Set-up and con­duct of fatigue tests
  • Pub­lic­a­tion of the res­ults in peer reviewed journ­als
  • Present­a­tion of the res­ults at national and inter­na­tional work­shops and con­fer­ences
  • PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in mater­ial sci­ences
Moreover:
  • Know­ledge in the field of fatigue of metal­lic mater­i­als
  • Know­ledge in the field of micro­struc­tural ana­lysis of metal­lic mater­i­als
  • Good know­ledge of the Eng­lish lan­guage desired
