Work­ing field:

  • research activ­it­ies into an auto­mated, flex­ible man­u­fac­tur­ing pro­cess for novel elec­tromech­an­ical trans­ducers made of dielec­tric elast­omers,
  • research activ­it­ies into a lam­in­at­ing pro­cess for stack­ing very thin, elastic films under clean room con­di­tions,
  • research activ­it­ies of a sep­ar­a­tion and con­tact­ing pro­cess for struc­tur­ally vari­able elast­omer actu­at­ors,
  • model-based design of dielec­tric elast­omer actu­at­ors using Mul­tiphys­ics tools and optim­iz­a­tion of the lam­in­ated muliti-layer struc­ture
  • coordin­a­tion and imple­ment­a­tion of pro­ject meet­ings with pro­ject part­ners
  • pre­par­a­tion and present­a­tion of sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions
  • coordin­a­tion of stu­dent assist­ants

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted sci­entific uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in Mech­an­ical Engin­eer­ing, Phys­ical Engin­eer­ing, Pro­duc­tion tech­no­logy or sim­ilar.
  • very good know­ledge and strong cre­ativ­ity design­ing and devel­op­ing mechat­ronic sys­tems
  • know­ledge in the field of ana­lyt­ical mod­el­ing and numer­ical sim­u­la­tion based on mul­tiphys­ics tools
  • know­ledge about smart mater­i­als desir­able
  • know­ledge in the field of pro­duc­tion under clean room con­di­tions desir­able
  • self-suf­fi­ciency, struc­tured work­ing method and self-determ­in­a­tion
  • very good Ger­man and Eng­lish pro­fi­ciency in spoken and writ­ten
  • capa­city for team­work
